both and用在否定句中and变为or吗?

表示否定的时候，不用both...and，而用另一个连接词，叫做neither...nor，意思是“既不……也不”，比如：
The boy neither admits nor denies that he stole the bike.
Neither my sister nor I was invited.
My daughter-in-law isn't coming, which is neither here nor there.
注意，neither...nor连接两个主语时，动词与nor后面的成分一致，也就是就近原则。
